Woody Gooch has a natural eye that is not often seen in the commercial world of photography.
Self taught and driven by innate curiosity and a passion for photography he is renowned for his use of negative space to create mood and drama.
There is a youthful energy and positivity in his personality that shines through in his work .. something that cannot be learned. Woody sees the world in a very individual way and has created a style that is unmistakably his own, framing the world in his photos as he sees it from his unique viewpoint.
Home schooling meant there was always plenty of time to follow and nurture his loves of travel, surfing, skating and photography, which meant by the time school was out Woody was ready to hit the ground running .. and he did.
The commercial world has been quick to embrace Woody’s visual style and from a surprisingly young age he was trusted with global brands such as Corona, Carhartt, Deus ex Machina and even Dior.
Woody currently calls Sydney home .. but only stopping in momentarily on the way to his next adventure .
For his fine art photography Woody is represented by Humo Gallery in Zurich. His impressive list of exhibitions reads as follows..
