Predominantly renowned as a fashion and beauty photographer, Australian born Capobianco captures viewers imaginations with his distinctive combination of colour, light and emotion, which is carefully crafted into each cinematically evocative image. A refined process which he has been pursuing for over ten years. Spending the majority of his time on the road, between Australia and Asia, Capobianco adapts this talent to studios and locations worldwide, where editors and clients ever increasing demands for creativity, flexibility and experience are of paramount importance. Painting for many years before picking up a camera, Jason has never stopped drawing inspiration from the masters and modernists of cinema, sculpture, painting and music.
Capobianco’s editorial work is high fashion focussed, contributing with exclusivity to titles such as Vogue China, Mens Vogue China and Vogue Australia, Harpers Bazaar Australia, Germany’s Sleek and Tush Magazines, GQ’s Japan, Australian and Korean titles, amongst many others, as well as tailoring worldwide advertising campaigns for clients such as Crown Casino Macau featuring actor Chow Yun Fat, hair campaigns for Jacques Dessange Paris and working for the Sydney Theatre Company shooting Cate Blanchett and Judy Davis.
